      As the Vice President of the energy division at Schneider Electric South Africa, Canninah Mapena’s focus is on the strategic planning and development of the company’s energy business in Southern Africa, customer relationship management, negotiations and deal closing within the utilities market, with particular attention on the mining, minerals and metals (MMM) and solar sectors, as well as the oil and gas market, a new avenue for the organisation at this level. In this high profile position she is also dedicated to the development of the company’s human capital.

The recently simplified organisational structure now offers all solutions under one Schneider Electric brand, across a variety of sectors such as energy, industry, buildings, data centres, networks, and residential customers.
