Schneider Electric’s commitment
Between 2005 and the end of 2008 the Group wants to reduce its energy consumption by 10% per employee. Five areas benefit from a special watch: heating, air conditioning, equipment, (IT in particular), lighting and special manufacturing processes.

Means

• The international tool box
  An international energy efficiency tool box is available on the Schneider Electric intranet. It brings together the whole energy efficiency supply:
  customer’s needs by section, key applications and all solutions and success stories
  
• The “energy champions” 
  Their main missions are to oversee the progress of the project and to report to the site Manager and the Energy Action team, to ensure that objectives are met, to steer changes and educate all employees and managers
