Is there a tripping position indication in Acti9 MCBs?
The Rotary Handle does not indicate the trip position, as when the MCB trips the handle comes to OFF position. In MCB's there are only two position, ON and OFF and there is no trip postion unlike MCCBs which have 3 positions ON, Trip and OFF. The new Acti9 range has a Visitrip (red indication on the front face of the MCB to indicate if it has tripped on electrical fault), but unfortunately the ext.. handle does not have any indication outside.
